Our excursion to the Blomberg „summer-toboggan-run“ (right at the interstate B472 between Bad Tölz and Bad Heilbrunn) was a great success. We had great weather and so the best conditions for sledding. On the Blomberg are two toboggan runs. One of them is the classic summer toboggan run, where you sleigh down on a 1256m fibreglass gutter. The other one is the new „all-season“ toboggan run.

The trip to the King Otto stalactite cave was worth the long journey from Munich. The cave is a little hidden in the woods at St. Colomann near the town of Velburg. If you arrive early, there are not many people out, and you get a wonderful guided walk thru.
